BMW has created a new electric vehicle named ActiveE. What they're hoping, however, is to create is something bigger than just  electric. As such the Bavarian automaker has launched a brand new campaign, which encourages drivers to become "electronauts".

Like astronauts explored outer space, electronauts are land explorers and adventurers. And, ultimately, they're expected to help BMW determine how their distinctive Active E electric vehicle and EV technology is able to connect drivers…

With stricter fuel standards BMW faced a challenge to not sacrifice power.  It would go against everything BMW stands for and that's just not an option.  So, how did BMW solve this dilemma?

BMW turned its focus on the BMW M5 V10 engine.  As you might know the fierce engine was planted in the last-gen BMW M5. Given its affinity for petrol, however, BMW has decided to make an upgrade. Instead of replacing it will an engine of the same magnitude BMW will fit the new 2012 BMW M5 super sport sedan with something even more powerful. So, not…
