Who Needs Music? the New BMW M5 Allows You to Crank up the Engine

The BMW M5 first launched in the year 2000. The last time BMW made any significant changes to it was for the 2010 model year. Wondering why? Quite simply, BMW was utilizing the time to create the most powerful M5 of all time.
The redesigned model, which is expected to go on sale early next 2012, is fitted with the model's first-ever 4.4-liter V8 turbocharged engine.
While the V8 is slightly smaller than the engine fitted in last year's model, BMW predicts that it will put out 560 horsepower and 500 lb.-ft. of torque, and accelerate from 0-62 mph in an incredible 4.4 seconds!
If you have experienced power like that ever before, you know it's enough to put your heart in your throat. The New BMW X5 truly gives enthusiasts the most visceral experience possible, with an out-of-the-box audio system that streams the throaty roar of the engine directly into the cabin through the stereo's speakers.
BMW has actually integrated the M5's signal processor with the super sports sedan's engine management computer. Which ultimately allows the audio system to then simulate the sound of the V8, 550 hp, twin-turbocharged engine... Of course, you'll still be able to listen to real music when needed.
